My Instagram Evolution: Embracing Change & Creativity

If you’ve been following me for a while, you might have noticed a shift in my Instagram. For the longest time, social media felt like a chore, something I had to do rather than something I wanted to do. But recently, I’ve had a change of heart. And if you know me, you know I love change.

Starting with my handle, Cut Me Kate. No one got it, or maybe honestly three people did. I got it from a musical comedy play inspired by Shakespeare, The Taming of the Shrew, Kiss me Kate. I still think its clever but I was feeling misconstrued in these aggressive times, no one needs that right now!

I want a broader audience, not just for the sake of growth but because I have more to say. More to explore. More to create. I want to push myself—to evolve in all aspects, including how I share my work, my thoughts, my inspirations. I don’t want to just post pretty hair pictures; I want to bring you into my world. The transformations, the rituals, the philosophies that shape my approach to beauty and life.

So consider this the beginning of something new. A space that’s not just about what I do but why I do it. A place where we can dive deeper into hair, beauty, creativity, and everything in between. And I want you to be part of it. I want to support each other.

What do you want to see more of? What are you curious about? Let’s start a conversation. Because change is good—and I’m just getting started.
